Oase PLL UV Tubes
This is one of the most integral parts of your overall filtration system, yet we often forget to maintain it as time goes by. You should replace your UV tube in your UV unit once a year, in the spring, if possible. Although the lamp may still burn, it no longer emits the correct amount of UV radiation to function optimally.
We stock the 18W, 24W, 42W and 60W Oase PLL Tubes. These are used for most Oase UV units including the Bitron, Vitronic and Filtoclear filters. These tubes are also suitable for other makes of UV, that take a PLL tube.
Please ensure that you buy the right replacement lamp. If you are unsure on which replacement lamp you need, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Be sure to clean the quartz glass of the unit carefully before installing the new lamp to optimise the light transmission.
