Malachite Green can be used for the treatment of parasitic infestations and its our second choice for White Spot when there is salt in the pond. It is also 1st choice for fungal problems. Malachite can be used on its own or with salt as a bath treatment.
Formalin is often mixed with Malachite and is very effective at treating most other microscopic parasites. Always wear protective clothing and gloves when using Malachite Green. Do not use at or below 10 deg.C.
